I have worked with management development for decades. In 2005-2006 I had the possibility to join, in good company, a research on new leadership. As we were working with the research I met tens of inspiring leaders and interesting management developers all over the world. Back then e.g. the Manager of still greatly succesfull Nokia Pekka Ala-Pietilä, told they used Appreciative Inquiry- method when dealing with problems and making changes. This opened my mind to the opportunities of new leadership, and the small scepticism that I possibly had had was gone. I am certain that there is ongoing a foundational leadership change in the world. Old paradigms and thoughts are moving away and giving room for the new ones. Some places one can see already completely new actions. I want to take actively part in promoting this change in leadership. LeaderForum is one good way to gather, share and develop new leadership.
